As your Member of Parliament I represent you and everyone else in Warrington, even if you voted for me or not. My power lies in Parliament, debating and voting on Bills. On all other matters outside of Parliament, I am able to raise them but I do not have the power to instruct Government departments and public organisations.
When it comes to complaints about Government Departments, the correct complaints procedure must be followed. At the end of the complaints procedure I can support complaints to the the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO) about UK Government departments and other UK public organisations
If you contact me about an issue and I cannot help, I can point you in the right direction.
I may be able to help but it will depend on the law you wish to change. In some circumstances it may not be possible, there are already laws in place or the Government already has plans to change the law you would like to change.
MPs are normally only available to their own constituents or people who have moved abroad whose last permanent residence was in their constituency. You can find out who your MP is on the Parliament website:
These organisations can help with a range of issues.
