Need help with housing?

Scroll to find out about how I can help

Warrington Borough Council is responsible for setting the Housing Allocations Policy for the whole town. All applications when assessed must adhere to the process. As a Member of Parliament, I do not have the power to override this policy and/or instruct the housing allocators to offer a particular property to a certain applicant.

FAQs

View the Warrington Housing Allocations Policy to see what criteria needs to be met to enter band 1.

This depends on your banding, your needs and areas selected on the application. It can take a few months or a number of years.

Houses are allocated to the next eligible person on the housing waiting list in accordance with the Allocations Policy. It is not possible to seek out an empty property and ask to be considered specifically for it.
